We're Looking Forward to Your Visit!
There's a place for you at Village!

Thinking about visiting Village Baptist for the first time? You’re not alone. Many people have similar questions as they plan a Sunday with us, and this section is here to give you a clear picture of what you can expect. We hope it helps you feel prepared, welcomed, and at ease as you take your next step toward joining us.

What time are your Sunday services, how long do they last, and what should I expect?
Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 11:00, and our Sunday evening service meets at 5:00. Each service lasts about an hour.

When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed at the door by someone who’s genuinely glad you’re here. You won’t be singled out during the service, and we never ask first‑time guests to stand or be recognized—we work hard to make your visit comfortable, not awkward.

You don’t need to bring anything with you; your presence is enough. If you have a Bible, feel free to bring it, and note‑taking is always encouraged. We do receive an offering during the morning service, but our guests should never feel obligated to give.

Where should I park, and which door do I use?
We have parking on both sides of the sanctuary, and you’re welcome to use any open spot. We simply ask that the closest spaces be left available for those with limited mobility and that the wet‑weather drive‑through remain clear.

Once you park, just head to the door nearest you. Any entrance will get you where you need to go.

What is the worship style like?
Our morning service leans traditional, with most songs drawn from the hymnal and projected on screens for easy participation. The preaching is rooted in the biblical text, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed—most people dress casually, and the pastor is usually the only one in a suit and tie.

Our Sunday evening service has a more laid‑back feel, with music that leans contemporary. The teaching is interactive, as the pastor guides the congregation in reflecting on the morning message and exploring one of its supporting passages more deeply.

Is there something for my kids in the worship service?
We love having children at Village Baptist Church. Our desire is to support them at every stage of their growth by providing meaningful opportunities and age‑appropriate resources that help them learn about Christ and His Word.

A nursery is available for babies as needed, located just across the foyer from our sanctuary.

Children of all ages are encouraged to worship with their parents during the singing. Just before the pastor’s message, younger children are dismissed to Children’s Church—a time designed especially for those who are not yet ready to read the text or follow the sermon.

Older children who can read and write are invited to stay with their parents throughout the service and use our Children’s Bulletin to take notes, follow along, and jot down any questions they may have.

How can I get connected beyond the worship services?
We offer Sunday School classes for all ages, Wednesday night study groups for adults, teens, and kids, and quarterly men’s and women’s discipleship gatherings. Each of these settings gives you a chance to grow in your faith, build relationships, and feel more at home in our church family.

We’d be honored to have you join us this Sunday. Whether you’re exploring faith, looking for a church home, or simply curious about who we are, we’d love the chance to meet you. Come as you are, and let us know how we can help you feel at home at Village Baptist.
